Potato Cannons
This is a potato cannon that Nick built for fun. We fired it with hairspray
as the propellant, achieving distances of several hundred yard. We tested it
by aiming straight up and timing the flight of the potato. Ignoring air
resistance, the flight time of 7.5s yielded a vertical ascent of 450 feet.
